We’re excited to announce that Destin’s beloved Beachside Inn has reopened after a four-month renovation. With its freshly painted exterior, refreshed rooms, and updated pool deck, the popular spot for family beach vacations just got better! Located at the gateway to Crystal Beach, Beachside Inn has been transformed into a modern coastal Inn while still embodying its original roadside charm.
The upgraded guest rooms reflect a modern coastal feel with a nostalgic nod to Destin’s origin as a small, friendly fishing village. With a warm coastal color palette of blue hues, including walls painted in Tradewind green complemented by an accent wall painted in Schooner blue, the rooms exude a modern coastal vibe. Each room celebrates Destin’s heritage with historic photos of Crystal Beach and the Destin Harbor. The bathroom features a new oversized tile shower with a corner bench for comfort and convenience. In addition, guest rooms include a kitchenette with quartz counter, oversize mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. Both King and double Queen rooms feature new bedding, including white comforters and cotton sheets as well as HD 48” flat-screen televisions.
We’re most excited about the little details to make each stay more enjoyable such as extra hooks for hanging wet towels and swimsuits, the oversize mini-fridge to ensure there is plenty of room for food and drinks, and a handheld steamer instead of a traditional iron so you can quickly steam your clothes to head out for a night on the town. In addition, Beachside Inn still offers a select number of pet-friendly rooms so guests can bring the furriest member of the family on vacation too!
We’ve kept the things that guests love most about Beachside Inn, including the inviting two-tier, roof-top swimming pool surrounded by plenty of lounge chairs and space for sunbathing on the newly restored deck.
Two of Crystal Beach’s most popular restaurants, Camille’s Café and Camille’s restaurant, are still located on-site at Beachside Inn. For breakfast, lunch, or happy hour, Camille’s sidewalk café features an impressive list of coffee and beverage choices as well as live music on select afternoons from 3 to 5 p.m. Upstairs, Camille’s restaurant is open for dinner and features an eclectic fare of seafood and local favorites, including some of the best sushi in Destin.
