We stayed at the Beachside Inn in Destin and it was nice. Really an upscale motel, but the rooms were very nice. They called it a B&B; but all we got was coffee and roll at breakfast - but that was okay too. The personnel were friendly and very helpful. The price was right for January and we enjoyed our stay.

Yeah, they take pets! The price is right, the place is better than clean, looks new, well kept and the staff (Jessica) was very helpful and friendly. We will definitly come back and refer people. The location is right across the street to the beach. And Jessica refered us to Camille's, right on the property and a very good restaurant. Try the sushi!

This is not my first stay at the Beachside Inn and it continues to live up to my high expectations. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful, the rooms were incredibly comfortable and the price was great for the location. Speaking of, you can't ask for a better location!

We have driven by this hotel many times over the years when renting a condo on old scenic 98 (which is the only street that we want to stay while in Destin). This trip was only a couple of days in Destin so we decided to go with a hotel and remembered this cute place. The room was very large with a nice bathroom and very, very clean. The service was great and the location can not be beat. For short stays in town we will always stay at this hotel.

Room was clean, plenty of linens. We were on the second floor, but there is an elevator. Could use more counter space near the microwave/refrigerator. Refrigerator very small, but adequate for 3 days. Movie library in rental office was meager.
Close to the main east and west roads, close to the beach, cafe and restaurant are adjacent to the rooms. Nice sidewalks and plenty of areas to walk the dog.

First let me say I have stayed at this property several times. So, I was very surprised to find a considerable amount of some type of debris on the floor. As I was a late check-in, there wasn't much to be done the night of my stay. This won't stop me from staying at the resort again as it is a very comfortable and convenient property. I feel certain this was an unusual and isolated incident as I have never encountered anything like it before.

The room was very pretty, but as far as privacy goes, the "curtains" didn't cover the entire window. This is scary when you're a single girl with a dog that is in demand. I did not leave my dog there because she couldn't stay in the room privately due to insufficient window coverage.
Speaking of privacy, I slept worse in that room than any other three hotels this month due to noise level (even after 11pm).
To finish up, I was dissapointed in the cleanliness. At first glance, it looked perfect, but, someone like me who notices everything, started to see some impurities. The bathroom floor had dog hair on it prior to my dog entering. The sheets, under the cover-between the fitted sheet and loose sheet, was filled with sand. When I mentioned it to the Saturday front desk woman she explained the comforter had no been shook out well enough. This insulted my intelligence, although I never let on my complete unhappiness. Plus, aren't hotels supposed to switch out and launder the comforters?
I actually felt dirty leaving the hotel.

I wasn't sure when I made the reservation what this place looked like. I was a little scared but ended up very impressed. We were moving and we needed a pet friendly place. It was so much nicer than I imagined and right across from the beach. The only downfall was that it was a little pricey.

I loved it! It was very relaxing, clean, beautiful, & comfy! A wonderful place to stay. The pool area was awesome, we felt like we were in our own little private tropical paradise. The sushi bar at the restaurant is great too. Super friendly staff!

My husband and I spent just one night but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Very spacious room with lots of storage for a longer stay. And the cafe' for a quick breakfast was perfect. We will be back.

Very pleased with accomodations. Rooms were clean and exactly as presented on website. Small facility size gives you the feel of staying in a bed and breakfast but without the cost.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at the Beachside Inn. From check-in to check-out the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean and very comfortable (bed a little soft for us but OK). The coffee shop where breakfast is included was delightful. All this and just steps from the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

My family's experience could not have been any better!!! We arrived very early in the morning and the maintenance man let us into our rooms before the office was open. My sister had a destination wedding and from day one they help her make sure that her day was extra special. I know that my family will be back and I would highly recommend this hotel!!!

This is not a B&B;, however I would not have found it except on the B&B; website.
This is just an old "motor inn". Kids next door kept kicking the wall until 10pm, garbage truck backing in @ 5am was not appreciated (this was an end of summer getaway weekend). Next day new people next door with two barking dog, this time the food delivery truck backing in at 6:30am. Like I said, it was "A" room-not "The" room. Breakfast was a muffin or cookie, again you're on the B&B; website. Other than the annoyance above, it was close to the beach. Next time I'll spend a few extra $$ and stay at the Henderson Beach Inn down the street.

I really did love this hotel. It's a little off-putting when you pull up to park, as the outdoor access to rooms gives the place a motel-feel, but once you're inside the room it's a totally different place! The guest rooms are so cozy and not overdone: it provided the perfect escape for one night. The size of the room was wonderful. I work for a hotel in New Orleans and our rooms that we charge $300 a night for are tiny in comparison! I love the little cafe and the free pastry and drink in the morning is a lovely touch. My friend and I utilized the motorbike rental the morning we checked out and enjoyed it thoroughly, and best of all, the hotel is located across the street from my absolute favorite spot on Destin's shores!
The only thing I found uncomfortable was the check-in process. I understand that it's a small property, but there should be a better option for guests checking in after employees have left for the day. Anyone else checking in late had access to my room number, name, and door code. The little locked cabinet is not a bad idea, but perhaps some more lockers could be installed where each guest checking in late had their own locker with their own code that gets changed daily. It didn't feel very safe... Seeing as nothing happened to warrant the worry, and the area is a nice one, this won't deter me from staying there again, but it is something to consider.
All-in-all, a wonderful place for the nightly rate. It's cozy and comfortable and not overstated. I absolutely adore your hotel! I'm so happy to have found this little gem!

Very nicely decorated. Liked the tile floor and bath. Great towels. Good lighting. Bed too high off the ground. At 5'6" I still had to boost myself up. Also, bed mattrice way too soft or needs to be replaced. Enjoyed having the Cafe available for breakfast and lunch (excellent sandwich) and the ability to sit outside and eat. Friendly staff.

We stayed for three nights at Beachside Inn and must say it was one of the most pleasant rooms we have ever had. The beds were the most comfortable and the room spaceous, clean and well appointed. Our only negative comment is the so called breakfast; coffee and danish. It was good but not breakfast as we know it.

Traveled down for a wedding on the beach. This is an older building, but has been somewhat updated and was clean. Similar to a Holiday Inn with a small refrigerator. Good value for a short stay. Included a free small breakfast...coffee and muffin that was delicious.

I found the place to be very clean and up to date. The walk to the beach was maybe 2 minutes. The sushi was great and the coffee shop was awesome. I highly recommend. The pool was a little cold, but I guess that is what the hot tub is for!

Pleasantly surprised...for the price and the cleanliness and the special touches...straw paper string wrappings on the shower curtain etc, the fresh flowers, great sleeping beds, the sliding doors to the bathroom area and sink area...also was not expecting the mini refrigerator, the toaster, coffee maker, and toaster...great additions to make our trip more affordable. Great location also, being near the beach access, Bass Pro Shop, Destin Harbor Walk...etc.
Already recommending you to others...Also a special "thanks" to Eunice for making my son's 2 month anniversary with his girlfriend "special". A great vacation memory for my 2 sons and me. Elyse

We have and plan on always using Newman-Daily each time we come to Destin. This is our 4th time down in the last 7 or so years and we have never been disappointed. The Beachside Inn was very nice and right across the street from the ocean. The staff was very pleasant. Camilles restaurant at the Beachside is one of the top rated restaurants in Destin which we did not know and it I agree. The sushi bar has a large menu and it was some of the best we had ever had. The only thing we wish had been different was the fact that there was not a comfortable chair in our room. The fours chairs were typical hardwood card table chairs and after a couple days you realize something is missing. But, your on vacation and not spending that much time in the room.

Beachside Inn was wonderful from the start, from the great location, welcoming staff, clean room- I can't say enough. Loved the decor and size of the room. Pet friendly so we were able to bring our furry baby. Quiet too!

The ck in and out was horrible and we probably will never return because of that. The room itself was very nice and we enjoyed it. It was at ck out that i found out about the breakfast... so we had 4 days of paying for our breakfast that could have been enjoyed at the dinner but was never told or given the vouchers until we were checking out and was asked if we liked it.

Beachside Inn is the most welcoming place on the Crystal Shore! If you are a pet traveler it is a must! Great rooms, great rates, great service! Pets are welcome and that makes for a wonderful family vacation! This is a yearly treat for us and our furry babies!

Stayed at Beachside Inn for four nights in September and really enjoyed it. The staff is very friendly and accomodating, especially the room maid who went out of her way to make sure we had every thing we needed. Location is convenient to beach (short walk across street to the public access), shopping, restraunts, etc. The hotel restraunt is also very good. The room was spacious and comfortable as well as attractively furnished. I had no complaints and plan on returning. We had a small dog and found the hotel to be very pet friendly.

The Beachside Inn had lovely furnishings and a convenient late check-in option. Pet-friendly was our requirement this time. It was great to be directly across the street from the Crystal Beach because we walked right over without having to move the car. Tile floors in the room were great for sandy feet. Beds were too soft for our liking. Great pool area too!

We were not advised that the motel office closed at 5:30 pm, resulting in our having to call a Newman-Dailey reception line to find out how to get into our room. We were told that a property manager would call us back. After 20 minutes and no call we tried Newman-Dailey again and a different operator gave us the required information. An unpleasant (and unnecessary) start to an otherwise enjoyable visit.

The room quote that was given to me over the phone, was not the same price I was charged for the room. I also had to call multiple times because a confirmation email was never received. I arrived at the hotel after a 13hr drive, to find out that our room wasn't ready. Check in would have been better if I had received any information about my stay. As far as the room is concerned, it was nice and clean. The beds were amazingly comfortable as well!

My daughter and I have been coming to the Beachside Inn for our annual Girls Getaway for almost 10 years. We love the Beachside Inn because of its cleanliness and convenient location to the Beautiful Crystal Shores Beach. We had a wonderful time and look forward to our next trip. We stay at Beachside every year and at different times...spring, summer and fall. The rooms are always extremely clean, the bedding neat and clean and plenty of towels. The pool and spa are clean and refreshing. We enjoy the dinner from the restuarant and breakfast and snacks at Camille's.

Check in was terrible. We were given one room, only to find out that people were already in that room. Much time needed to get another room. Tv did not work and toilet ran all night. I was told that I would get the Postal/Gov. discount only to find it was not applied on the bill. I went to resolve this in the morning, prior to leaving and the office was closed. The room was very nice.

The weather did not cooperate,so the fact that the rooms were clean and cool was a big advantage. Since my teenage kids had to hang out in the room to avoid the summer rain showers.

The room was very lovely,(had charm). It was very large, furniture and decor was very pretty. The lady at check in was very helpful and nice. The pool area was a little dirty, but so cute the way the pool divided into 2 pools. The only complaints we have are: I had to wipe the bathroom counter off in the corners where there were lots of hair and black dust and the window seal and bottom of curtain was piled high with dust bunnies, the pillows were really thick and very incomfortable on our necks and the bed squeeked every time we moved. I would stay here again though because the rooms really were lovely.

Small property with a nice, quiet location across the street from the beach. Amenities include a very nice pool, hottub, on-site coffee shop and restaurant. Also, neat patio adjoining hot tub to enjoy breakfast. All adds up to very relaxing stay...just park your car and you will find a peaceful, stress-free environment. I might add the cooling system in our room was modern @ powerful which added to our comfort. The air quality in the room was excellent.

We stayed at the Beachside Inn. The location was perfect - cross the street to a beautiful beach that wasn't crowed with people. Room was nice, pool is beautiful. Staff was very friendly.
Only con, is that there is a very popular restaurant located in the Inn. Parking can be hard to locate if you are out during the dinner rush. But we always managed.
Plan on going back.

The service was excellent, the employees were helpful on so many levels. The resturaunts on site were amazing. The rooms were perfectly decorated and set up perfectly for two. The bistro started everyday off with amazing coffee and baked goods. The public access beach was perfect, not too crowded at all. We loved our stay so much we spent an additional night...We couldn't get enough!

Great location, right across from public beach access, close to restaurants and souvenir shops. Small, yet comfortable place to stay, housekeeping did a great job. Our only complain was the parking. Camille's restaurant is located in the same building and every time we drove off in the evening, we had a hard time finding a place to park when we returned. They should assign one parking spot per room to avoid the hassle of fighting for parking spots.

Hotel was clean except floors were very dirty. Walking around in the room our feet were black on the bottom. We mopped the floors ourselves after getting tired of our feet beig dirty. I dont think housekeeping mops floors between guests. Parking lot had been resealed and I think the black sealer was getting tracked in the rooms.Other than dirty floors and the wifi signal being weak we enjoyed our stay.

We booked online after vary carefully checking reviews, and doing comparisons and other research. They didn't have great photos, so we were suprised by the fact that it is actually a motel.. not hotel.
The rooms were clean, the reception was very friendly. The problem was the onsite restaurant. Because of the traffic, the walkways were dirty and smelled like the back of a restaurant.
The employees hanging out by the pool, or in otherwise clear visual and smelling shot while on smoke breaks, wasn't ideal either.
On our second day the cleaning crew, did not bring us new towels, did not restock the coffee, soaps, etc, and only made one bed... very strange.
The free wifi didn't work in our hotel room, and there was no fix offered or investigated.
Upon being asked to review this room, they think we stayed in something called "idyllic 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath home". In fact we stayed at the motel that they also own... suggesting that they internal management system is lacking.
Overall, the site would have been fine, but the impact of Camille's restaurant on the hotel guests, coupled with the overall level of service was a bit of a downer.

We stayed the weekend of the Fourth of July. Opened the door and what a surprise a Beautiful clean room that is important to me It had everything we needed had room service over the Holiday. Great staff We Will Be Back .Your rates can't be beat and just across the street from the ocean. Crystal beach is beautiful. We even brought our weenie dogs they loved it.

Thought the location to the beach and other ammenities was great. The rooms were nice. My only disappointment was the cleaning, or lack there of. Was never told that the way to get the room cleaned was to put the maid sign on the door. Haven't done that in years! So we were there 5 nights and the room did not get clean 2 of the 5 days. We ran out of toilet paper and soap. Had to ask for toilet paper and never got new soap.

I traveled with my son, grandson, & two dog children:) The location was beautiful and so close to the beautiful beach. The service was excellent from check-in to check-out!! Everyone made my grandson and pets feel at home. The room was big and beautiful. My grandson had sooo much fun on his first trip to the beach:)The beach was was incrediable and it was so close to the hotel!! The Dog beach was just a drive away. We went three times on a five day trip:) Loved it!! Loved being able to travel with my dogs. I felt safe to walk them on long walks alone or with my young grandson. This was my first trip to Destin. We will all be back again and will stay at the Beachside Inn. Thank You Beachside Inn for a wonderful vacation!

1 year anniversary trip. called on phone and booked hotel from home. asked for 2nd floor room and payed w/ credit card, getting the military discount. i even called a few days later to confirm my price reservations. got there to check in and they had switched around rooms for some reason and we ended up on 1st floor plus they didn't have my credit card on file to i had to pay there--it was a big pain because front desk lady wasn't going to give me the military discount at first. they did give us a free bottle of champagne as an apology (cool, but we don't really like champagne--but we took it anyway).
the room was pretty nice, very large and open and the bed was comfortable. however, at night we could hear our drunk neighbors through the door that can connect rooms if you had a family staying together. free breakfast in the morning was okay. we swam in the pool--it was nice but dirty with leaves floating in it--the pool cleaner guy showed up and started cleaning the pool--so we left. overall, pretty nice trip, not the best, but it's a nice location if you like the beach and the destin commons outdoor mall.

We stayed here for our honeymoon. Very clean, neat room. Great for couples. Great location across from Crystal beach access and Destin Common mall. Very good restaurant "Camiles" on the second floor. Also good sushi bar too. Wish we would had gone to the pool. But enjoyed our stay. We wil be back. .

Overall rooms and service were very good. The beds are wonderful!!! The mattresses were awesome!!! I slept so good!! Since I am not a smoker, I did not like the smoker tables near my door, but I know that you also have to accommodate smokers. With the after hours (I arrived there late--3:00am), I had to wake up the manager to help me with directions (poor manager---she sounded sleepy, of course). I think the operator should be able to help with directions instead of making a second call to the manager.

Pros: Right across the street from the beach. Big room. Very friendly staff. Restaurant was very good and right next door. Complimentary anniversary champagne was an unexpected surprise. Pool area was absolutely wonderful with an elevated view of the beach.
Cons: Parking during restaurant hours is tough. Reaching staff after hours is difficult if not impossible.

The Beachside Inn at Destin Floriday presented very nice and comfortable hotel accomodations. The Hotel is also co-located with a Cafe and a formal restaraunt- Camilles. The cafe and restaraunt provide very good food, a Sushi Bar, and a semi-formal dining environment at an extremel competetive price . The Staff were very polite and helpful, and the rooms were quite nice. Additionally, the hotel was very pet friendly. We travelled with two very well behaved american White German Shepards, and the hotel was quite accomodating.
I highly recommend the Beachside Inn when traveling to Destin Florida- with or without pets. My Wife and I will stay there again when visiting the area.
Looking forward to our next trip there!

My wife and I have stayed at the Beachside Inn for the last three years and love it! Last time we had an after hours check-in problem, I called the number and Eunice called me back at 3am, got us in our room, and had the problem with the door lock (it was a button that wasn't working properly) figured out and remedied before we got back from breakfast at the coffee shop. The whole staff there is great!!!!

This location is great, especially if you want to bring your dog. The room is spacious and very clean. I love the tiled floors and wood, not upholstered, chairs. The staff was friedly. The pool is very nice and clean. And, you are just yards from the beach. And, you can have lunch at the cafe and dinner at the restaurant right there at your hotel.

I really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere, the service and proximity to the beach. There is one negative thing that I would have to say is that there was no parking space for us to park. I believe it was because of the restaurant and/or other factors and we had to park outside the rental property twice.

On arrival,found no one in the office, and the key drop box open and empty. Called the contact # and waited for someone to bring a key. Room was fine and location was good. Never encountered an office worker until the last morning when trying to check out...computer system down. At this time,we received our coupons for the continental breakfast we were to have had for one of the 2 mornings we were there. Kind of late for that!

Central location with restaurant and nice coffee shop on the property. Loved to be able to take my little dog to the room and coffee shop. She was offerred water and a biscuit by a nice hostess. Only downside (that the hotel cannot control) is that there are no dog friendly beaches in the county...bummer! You face fines by the beach police.
What that means to me is that given a choice of this beach or St. George or Cape San Blas, Destin would lose my business.
If you are staying in Destin...this property is very clean and convenient.

We enjoyed our stay at the Beachside Inn, Destin, Fl.. The staff are friendly. The rooms were clean and spacious. The beds comfy. The hotel is across the street from the beautiful beach and near just about everything else we wanted. The biggest plus for us was their dog friendly attitude, as our dear yellow lab, who's over 30 lbs, was deal breaker for everyone else we contacted especially in the condo market. We are not your typical Spring Breakers. However, we were looking forward to spending time near Destin Beach. We needed a pet friendly hotel. This was our second time staying at the Beachside Inn and we loved it! It's like staying at quaint cottage.The rooms are large, clean and comfortable Not only did the hotel staff make us feel welcome, they made our dog feel at home and pampered. . The restaurant and cafe pulled in a crowd but it was not loud or rowdy. The Beachside Inn is the perfect location for us. It is across the street from the beach and a short drive to great shopping and entertainment. We did not want to leave but we had to go back to work so we can return soon. We can't say enough about the wonderful staff at the Beachside Inn. They called us when we left an item behind and promptly mailed it to us. We've never had that kind of service even when we've stayed at higher priced hotel chains. We think you will love it, too.

The room was extremely clean! The bed was absolutely one of the best beds I've ever slept in, hands down! The location was pretty good but the room we stayed in was right next to the restaurant so we heard a lot of traffic and noise. Bathroom was huge and the shower was handicap accessible. Overall was an a+ experience.

This was an emergency. We were moving away... the van was packed... the closing was delayed... and we had nowhere to stay with our darling little Yorkie, "Sassy." At 9:00 a.m., we were on the doorstep at the Beachside Inn looking for "one room, one night, with one dog." Eunice could not have been sweeter as she assured us she had just the room, and we could check in right then. The "pet friendly" room was charming: two big comfy beds, lots of space for us and our things, practical tiled floor for doggies that might have accidents, and so close to the beach that Sassy and I took several long walks to calm my frazzled nerves. We will return to the Beachside Inn every time we revisit Destin!

We stayed for two nights and were very pleased with the room and the fact that we could include our two little dogs. The only thing we would change about the room would be more surface space to put things down on. We were glad to have the complimentary breakfast at Camille's nearby. We also ate there for lunch both days because it was so convenient. After we checked out we were notified that we had left behind three shirts. Thanks to the staff we were notified and the shirts were mailed to our home. We are very satisfied with our stay and would return on our next visit to Destin!

Even though the Beachside Inn is locaed in the middle of Crystal Beach and lots of things to do, the way it is set back back just enough gives us sense of privacy. My boyfriend loves being able to bring our pooch. That makes him worry less and enjoy our trip with you folks. This was our 5th time staying there and we still love Camille's for at least one of the evenings for dinner. Our first year we ate there 3 nights in a row,. Why travel for excellent food and a view when it is right down the hall? We love the split pool idea and the juacuzzi.
Eunice is wonderful and alwasy had answers to our questions and responds to our needs immediately.
We will be back in June...can't wait.

I was on a lecture tour in the South, then took a couple days to peruse Destin, FL. I happened on this inn and had a wonderful stay in my room. Loved the tile floor (no yucky carpet). Loved the earth-friendly lighting, though the lights above the vanity were a bit dim for me. Loved the cleanliness of the room overall, plus the pocket doors, which save space. They had just replaced the mattresses, so the bed felt wonderful (and I enjoyed the tall height). The room had "real" furniture in it, not the usual fare. The front desk personnel were great. Loved the proximity to the beach --- very convenient to shopping, restaurants, etc. Found the wifi to be slow, but it worked. Did have one issue: I did not desire the maids to enter the room, but they did anyway. I had left out prescription drugs, an expensive laptop, camera and more, so imagine my chagrin when I returned to the room and found that (a) they had been there; and (b) they had left the curtain open!

upon check in, my wife and daughter offered that the map locator from the website was incorrect. the desk clerk became snippy, declaring that they had nothing to do with that and offered no apology. room was clean, but there was stuff left in the refrigerator from a previous guest. at night when the aC was running, there was water dripping from the vent. when calling to get help, there was only a recording. no after hours help available at all.

I'll definitely be back! Staff was friendly, engaging and extremely courteous. Even my pet was invited in with a smile. Rooms were not only clean but had a welcoming decor, modern colors, tile floors - very appealing. Pool area was relaxing and well maintained. Neighborhood residents and natives frequenting the coffee shop had me feeling like a local. Sushi bar was the perfect way to spend the evening after a day at the beach. Location couldn't be better; a short stroll across a quiet street to the sands of Crystal Beach. Plans are already in the works for another return visit. It's unlikely I'll ever stay elsewhere when I come to Destin.

When we first got to our room we noticed the floor was dirty (looked like hadn't been swept) and the table was covered with salt. The bathtub was badly stained (saying stained not dirty but couldn't really tell) and was a major turnoff. As for the floor and table we knew we would only be there for one night so we took a tool and washcloth and cleaned them both. As for the tub/shower...No way would we step foot in it. We stopped in at the coffee house and asked about the sign that said music and the girl told us yes at five but when we went back the lights were off, door locked and no music which was disappointing. The beds were comfortable and the location was excellent which the maintenance issues. The hotel was very quiet so a good night sleep was accomplished.

The only approprioate word is wow! This hotel is directly accross the street from a beautiful beach park. The room was large, comfortable, nicely decorated, and clean. There is a wonderful restaurant in the same building with seats inside and out. The pool is lovely and fun. It is a raised two level pool with a hot tub and waterfall feature. The customer service is impeccable. One street attached to the hotel is a rental business with kayaks, bikes and motor scooters. The location is somewhat secluded, however, two blocks away there are shops, a mall and many restaurants. Couldn't ask for more except, the price was almost half of the comparables! I would never stay anywhere else.

The Bath tubs had a bath mat that was old and slippery. Not of good quality it slipped from under my wife and she fell on the ledge at the end of the shower and bruised her left hip real bad and was unable to enjoy our vacation due to the pain she had. Yes we told the front desk and they said they cleaned the tub. I ask them fof the stay to be free but they declined. meby I should contact my lawyer and see if he could do something.

Our stay was wonderful, but their hours are a little short. We arrived early, and stopped to check to see if the room was ready, it was not. So the young lady at the check in desk said she would call us and let us know when it was ready. Never called us. No told us that they only give you clean towels on Wednesday, you have to use the same towels for a week to shower with. No told us to keep the parking tag and turn it in when we check out. If you do not turn the tag in it cost you 5 dollars. The pictures that are on the web site are not a true picture of the condos. I was very disappointed in the service at the front desk. The cleaning people were polite and they did a nice job on Wednesday when we got clean towels and that was it. No one cleaned the bathrooms the whole time we were there. I did not expect the condo to be cleaned but the bathrooms and clean towels would have been nice.

Our stay at the Beachside Inn was wonderful. We were only steps away from the beach and so close to the wonderful pool. The rooms were very nice; the beds extremely comfortable, a frig, toaster, microwave and a full size coffee pot were great to have. The lights in the dressing area were a little dim for putting on makeup but besides that I could not find a thing wrong with the room. Small complex with two entrances made it easy to come and go and location was close to plenty of dinning.

Last year was our first visit to Destin, Fl and the Beachside Inn. Our stay was so exceptional, we had to return. It stands out from the beach resorts, which were not our preference. Accessibility is great, as we are able to park just outside of our room. As regular travelers, I don't often look forward to sleeping away from home, but these rooms are like home. Beautiful, comfortable, and always clean, we look forward to the rest we know we will get during our stay. The staff has always been more than courteous and helpful. Coming from a small town, I know the benefits of doing business with the local businesses rather than the large chains. Staying at this Newman-Dailey property has only proven that more. This was a Hotel not a rental home. The location was great! just cross the street and you are on the beach, and it allowed our pet for a modest fee. no carpet, so sand everywhere (yes, we tired to clean off our feet and other items before entering the room.) first floor and a space where the door should have been sealed, thus creatures of a various kinds. The location to the beach was great, with bothroom and showers before you crossed back over to the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at the Beachside Inn in Destin. The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable and I really enjoyed the full size coffee pot.
I have back problems and slept so good in the bed.

We read great reviews on the internet about this property and decided to give it a try. While we spent a little more than usual to stay here, it was well worth the money. Great location. Not on the beach but just a few steps away across the street. At the end of a day at the beach a dip in the hotel's outdoor spa was just the ticket to relaxation. An adjacent two-tier pool area provided a nice view. Overall the room was spotless, comfortable and fulfilled our basic needs. Would definitely stay there again! Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

The service/staff at this hotel were so very friendly and prompt to assist us. We had our dog with us which did not pose a problem for the hotel. The room was one of the cleanest we have every stayed in. Even the food at the restaurant was excellent. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will be returning in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed Beachside Inn on our way to and from Orlando. It was a great, simple, clean, comfortable & easy place to stay...a perfect diversion on our 18 hour journey to and from Texas. The proximity to the beautiful beach was great. We also really enjoyed the pool...very nice! My only (minor) complaint would be the breakfast...the pastries were good, but it would have been nice to have had some fruit or yogurt to go alongside it. That would not be expensive to add and would make your guests feel like they were getting something more substantial for the start of the day.
One other note, your website pictures do not do your property justice! I was very surprised by just how nice this property is upon arrival and would definitely stay there again!

nOslagia with a modern twist! Do you remember pulling into your hotel parking and unloading in front of the door! This is it! Very clean friendly inn by a gorgeous beach just literally steps away! The room was clean and spacious, the beds and linens were very comfortable. The decor was nice except they were lacking a comfortable chair or sofa to sit on they only had a couple of wood desk chairs to sit on. Internet access was good and the showers were good and hot. The biggest draw backs: no balcony, there was a chair on the walkway outside the door and it smelled so bad because the dumpster was right there and the noise from the garbage truck at 5am was a big turnoff and the only view was the parking lot.

The only bad thing is my wife has been looking for the quilt set that was on the bed. She loved it. I think the lady there was Eunice, she was great. Helpfull funny and even gave the name of the bedding to my wife. I wish we could have stayed longer, but will definately stay there next time. Clean, bright and close to what we needed.

We stayed at the Beachside Inn for a wedding. A group of rooms were saved for the wedding guests. Easy check in. The room was large and comfortable. Great access to the beach. We had a dinner at the attached restaurant and it was very good.

My wife and I brought our dogs with us. We were very impressed at how nice the rooms were, being pet friendly. This was the first time we had traveled such a long distance with 2 grown boxers and staying here was comfortable for them. We will definately go back and recommend to all, with or without a pet.

The best hotel room ever, no stinky carpets nice tile floors, new flat screen tv, and my god the bed, i did not want to leave the bed. The best bed ever, I selpt like a baby. The walk to the beach was short and the white sand and emeral green shore was a sight to see. Flordia is a wonderful vacation and I can not wait to come back. Oh yea the reason we found this place was the food in the restraunt. we ate there and wanted to check out the rooms. sure glad we did. Thanks for this wonderful wonderful place to stay.

The Emerald Coast is a beautiful thing. Twelve Canadians descended onto the Beachside Inn in Destin for a wedding.
Although it was incredibly hot, the beach (entrance at Crystal Beach across the street) and the pool at the Inn kept us all happy. Absolutely no oil, just some algae on some days. Bring your own beach towel. Shopping at Destin Commons is fantastic. Although the office closes at night, the staff at Camille's restaurant (open until 10) does everything they can to help you. Bravo.

We enjoy coming and staying at the BeachSide Inn for monetary value and location. Our last stay was terrible due to the neighbors in 208. They were having some sort of domestic dispute and we ultimately had to call the police. I undertstand you can't control peoples behavior but a bit more security would have been helpful.

My husband, my daughter, our grandson and I decided at the last minute to go to the beach. I called
and got a reservation. We arrived and were pleasantly surprised at the updated rooms. Way To Go.
We always like having a refrigerator in our room.
The beds were comfy and we liked th enew colors.
We enjoy this part of the beach as well. We liked the
fact that we could rent an umbrella right there on the veach
instead of having to lug ours down there.
We like having a light breakfast and being able to
get a soft drink or sandwich without having to get into the
car and drive somewhere.
We didn't visit Camille's this time because we have
several local places that we try to frequent when there.

This hotel was a midpoint stop on my long road trip from Texas to Fort Lauderdale. I was traveling with a cat, and you accommodated me.
I could have had a cheaper accommodation nearer to the interstate, but for only a modest bump up I got a charming room, a good restaurant, the sound of crashing waves, and sand between my toes.
Well worth it.
The cat liked it too.

The Destin Beachside Inn is in an excellant location-not on the beach, but from the pool and the restaurant's outside seating area, the ocean and beach is visible just across the road. There is a large opening between the two buildings across the road, allowing for the great view. The pool is awesome. Our friends and other family members were at a different place of stay, and they were amazed at the difference in the pools. Ours was very clean, two-level, with a hot-tub nearby. The location was close to restaurants and shopping, which proved convenient. The only negative I felt, was that the breakfast which was provided by the inn consisted of a danish or muffin, and a cup of coffee. This was not the type of meal my family and I desired, but may be suitable for many. The room was exceptionally clean. We chose for ours not to be disturbed during our stay, and only asked for wet towels to be exchanged for clean ones. Therefore I can't score the service of the room cleaners. The service from the front desk clerks was excellant. They were both friendly and helpful. Eunice even stood outside and chatted with me while she watered the plants one morning. I enjoyed our conversation. She and Donna both ensured that our stay was as pleasant as possible. I appreciate them both and hope to visit the Beachside Inn again someday-hopefully for a longer stay next time!

Visiting the Beach Side Inn is an outstanding pleasant experience. Our dog is welcomed and for us that brings us peace of mind. The innkeeper takes special pains to make us comfortable with Fresh Flowers in our room. Daily maid service that is above average. Continental Breakfast with. Home made over sized muffins and pastry. coffee & fresh Orange juice. The rooms have a decided English country air along with the flower boxes and hanging plantings that trim the balconies. Enjoyed the pools and hot tub. Did not want to leave. For a vacation of this quality with the luxury of a beautiful Beach. The inkeepers are the hostess with the mostest. This is an Island type of vacation without expense of leaving the Good old USa. For an affordable,comfortable, pampered stay.

I would say we had a great time at the location. My nine-year-old granddaughter had not seen the beach so we look her for the weekend. The motel itself was in a great location, the room was clean, and the fact they accepted my dachshund was great. Only defect was the room needs a broom kept in there to help keep the sand out, due to no carpet being in the room (which was a good thing.) Never understood why rooms had carpet at the beach with all that sand. I would definitely stay at the Beachside Inn again.

From Check-In to Check-Out we were provided with fantastic service and a very clean room. The staff were the best I have seen in a beach setting anywhere. The resturant and coffee shop were so convenient plus within walking distance, without moving the vehicle, we were able to walk to drug stores, shopping and additional resturants. We were very surprised that there was no staff on duty at night. When we went there was a wedding and the people stayed up until past 3:00am. I know this because i stayed up through it the whole night listening to it through my room when i was trying to sleep.!!! I really think that you should have someone on staff at night just because what if there was some emergency no one would be at the hotel to help out you Out-of-town visitors. Or maybe in our case to quiet people down. The location though was very nice because it was close to the beach and all the places that we went. I also noticed that there was one of your employees from Newman-Dailey named Donna that was there all the day and really just kind of walked around all day. Then i guess when she got bored she just sat around and smoked. overall it was average.. Thanks for a okay stay..

Overall we enjoyed our stay at The Beachside Inn. My one complaint is that there was a wedding there and the music was very loud until about 11pm. Then again at 2:00am some of the guests of the wedding threw a little "afterparty" in their room and blasted music until at least 3:00am. Least to say, we did not sleep well that night at all! They should have better rules in place in terms of music at night.

This was a nice quaint Motel. Location of course was probably the most favorable factor. The grounds were neat and well kept. The pool area was nice, however lounge chairs were very uncomfortable and limited in quantity. The room was rather large, with a very comfortable bed and good size T.V. However, I did not find it to be "plush" so to speak, validating the almost $200.00 per day for a week night stay "Off Season". The bathroom was not attractive or modernized at all, and the vanity area was limited as well, with only one sink and mirror, directly near the bathroom. I am well traveled, and a $200.00 per night room can be found on Daytona beach or Fort Lauderdale "directly on the beach" in reputable chains such as a Hilton, Mariot, or Sheratin, with much better accomodations inside, and throughout the hotel. So in this respect I was dissapointed.
If the room was maybe approximately $100.00 per night during the week, I would say it was great for that rate. However, in comparison to other stays on similar properties, I would not recommend it.

We love the easy beach access and the complimentary breakfast that lets us not have to worry about making or tracking down breakfast. We just grab a danish and head right over to the beach. Hotel room was nicely appointed and clean. Location is very convenient to the beach, grocery stores and shopping. Outside appearance was quaint with overfilled planters of colorful flowers. Reminded me of a tropical island hotel. Hotel was at full capacity and clientele was well behaved. No loud parties, etc. Very peaceful. Parking for guest was plentiful.
We had 4 adults and one child in one room for two nights. Room service was overwhelmed on Sat and did not clean our room. We went to front desk to get fresh towels in late afternoon. On Sunday morning we were out of toliet paper and front desk was closed! Another guest who was leaving gave us a roll of toilet tissue. There were no kleenex in the room although there was a dispenser for them.
The downside was minor compared to the overall experience. I would definately stay there again. Based on the rate (which is not cheap) I just expected better service from staff. I think perhaps they were short on staff which is understandable.

Our room was very nice with the exception of the mattress which was too soft. Also, we wished there had been a comfortable side chair in the room.
Our other issue was the noisy neighbors right next door - they had no courtesy for anyone and were very loud late and night and early in the morning.
The ladies at the front desk were very nice and even gave us a bottle of champagne for our anniversary.
Loved the central location and the close walk to the beach. Did not use the pool or hot tub. We also did not check out Camille's the on-site restaurant, although it seemed quite popular. We had a hard time getting a parking spot when we returned on Saturday night - there was also a wedding reception going on there.
Overall, I would recommend and probably return.

The location of the resort is wonderful, being that it's literally 150ft or so to the beach access entrance. The quality of the rooms was very impressive. My fiance and I were very pleased with the night sleep we got on the very very comfortable bed. We really didn't want to leave, we didn't have a long vacation due to lack of funds, which is where the problem arose. We called to inquire about a room on a Sunday afternoon, we live in Atlanta and neither of us had been on a vacation in a couple years. We were on limited time and money, so we planned on trying to get down there that sunday night and stay until tuesday or wednesday. The lady that I talked to was nice, but I wasn't too sure on the need to reserve a room since it's the end of April and spring breakers had gone back to finish finals at school. Needless to say we reluctantly reserved a room, and this is in the afternoon, and were in Atlanta, and not packed. We didn't end up making it to Destin until Monday morning around 10:00 am. The lady at the front desk told me unfortunately there was nothing that could be done about the charge to our credit card. Pretty much, tough luck, but enjoy your stay. It left a sour taste in our mouths that we paid about 250$ to stay in a room for just that Monday night. I refuse to believe that nothing could've been done, they pretty much took a hundred bucks from us for convincing us we needed to reserve a room. There were several vacant rooms, they could've easily allowed us to stay Tuesday night as well. It would have been fair to us, we didn't have much money and the trip was supposed to be us getting away from crap like that. I loved the rooms and the location, but nice hotels are in adbundance in Destin, so as for my fiance and I, not that we'll be able to take another vacation for a real long time, but when we do we won't be staying here. It's unfortunate, I guess screwing good people out of their money is their mission statement.

We very much enjoyed the Beachside Inn as it was quiet and nice size room. As I advised when checking out, we found our room needing much attntion to cleaning. The icebox of the frig was so over frozen it was nearly un-usable. The coffee maker was clogged with coffee grounds which we had to clean before using. The windows were terrible so we washed them on the outside. There was somethng spilled on the floor under the table when we arrived which we scrubbed up. The shower curtain contained mold.
We observed the couple doing the cleaning were hard workers but could not keep up with all the cleaning demands of the facility.
Interesting that we stayed one night at the Days Inn, Destin where our nightly rate was $69 and their room was very clean. Further we stayed in four different Comfort Inns/Jamison Inns on our way back home, with rates in the $60 per night and found all of them very clean.

What a great place Beachside Inn is. It's location is fabulous. In just a 2 minute walk you're on the beach. The cafe for a quick bite for breakfast or lunch is fabulous. And all the staff is so friendly and helpful. Eunice and Donna were the absolute best! The fact that they accept pets at a most reasonable price is an added bonus for us. The room was large, including the bathroom, and the bed was very comfy. I would suggest either a comfortable chair or loveseat for the room. We'll definitely be back for another stay with Newman-Dailey properties and Beachside Inn.

We knew the location from previous visits. Just needed a room for a couple of nights prior to access to another house rental.Room was clean and very nice.No big issues there. Wireless internet was medium at best. Was not very stable and access was intermittent. This is a very important service to us. We both require access for work and also personal contacts.We did not get room service. Had to get towels ourselves and then desk lady came down and got trash. This was also not a huge deal to my wife and I.Lastly,friends stayed in room one night as well.They paid $40 less per night than us. They stayed one night, we stayed two.You tell me? Not good business practice. A few dollars difference is no big deal, but $40/night, gets my attention. Desk person never offered to reduce rate.I guess you take what you can get, huh. Location is a wonderful spot and we have eaten at Camilles many times and will probably continue to do so. The next time I attempt to stay here though,negotiations will be a bit more detailed. The staff was very patient and courteous. The picture of the room on the web site is deceiving (can only speak of the one I was in); it was also a pet friendly room so not sure if that was a factor. The room was poorly maintained, really truly disappointing as I was looking forward to the tiles and the queen beds. I truly felt like I did not want to touch anything. I made a mistake of looking behind the bed to discover dog hair, dust and dirt that had obviously accumulated there for a long time. Just a poorly kept room.
The only plus, was the location...awesome...2 min walk before being beach side, left or right on the main drag for shopping or food. And again the staff was friendly and helpful.
I would return with a mop, broom and bleach for the location alone and if there was no where else to stay.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Beachside Inn for two nights while in town for a wedding. Beachside Inn was very quaint, very clean, very quiet and the staff was very friendly. You could not ask for a nicer group of people. Our pets were welcomed and that is a big plus with my girlfriend and I as well. Our stay could have not been better. We would without a doubt stay at the Beachside Inn again. The swimming pool area was beautiful and the on location restraunt and sandwich shoppe is a nice feature as well.

Had a great time at the beachside inn. Sat by the pool at night and had a conversation with 2 old friends for 3 hours and never were disturbed. Wish the hot tub was open! It was closed for some reason. Breakfast at the coffee shop was great. Location is great.

We enjoyed our weekend stay at Beachside Inn. The clean refreshing decor was more like
staying at a B&B. The beds were comfortable though a little too high off the ground for
myself being 71/2 months pregnant. I used a chair to get in bed. The price was good for the
season and was in the range of what I was looking for. Loved the location with easy access
to the beach right across the street. We also enjoyed the coffee/sandwhich shop located on
the property. My only complaint was the strange smell in the office at check in and our non-
smoking room had a noticeable smokey smell but not unbearable for the off season price.
My husband said the towels smelled clean which made him more comfortable with his
concern for cleanliness, he is very picky. We will most likely plan on staying at Beachside Inn
next time we visit Destin.

Arrived prior to check in time, room was ready, except floor was still wet (pleasure not to have carpeting which can hold germs). We only had to wait about 20 minutes. Room 107 was very clean and accommodated us very well. Loved the big screen TV and the beds were very comfortable. We were there to attend a wedding which originally was to be held on the beach with the reception by the pool. Unfortunately the weather was terrible and the bridal party and guests were able to use the restaurant for the ceremony and reception. Location was great too. Really enjoyed our stay.

My family and I stayed hear over spring break and we enjoyed our stay very much. The front desk personnel were very nice and accommodating. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The beach is a very short walk from the property and having the state park nearby is a big plus. I went to the cafe each morning and was treated like one of the family every time. Camille?s, the attached restaurant, is very good and extremely convenient. If you like sushi, it is the place to go as they cut the fish thicker than most. We will definitely be making a return visit next year.

We have stayed at the Beachside Inn several times and just love it. It is so cozy and right near everything. We did have an issue with housekeeping this time not sweeping or cleaning our tub but overall we will come back. Eunice and Donna are great! The restaurant there is so great. Room was very clean. Location is wonderful with great beach access. Directly across the street is a public access with covered pavilion, bathrooms and showers. This is a good value for Destin and I would definitely recommend it for families looking for a clean, quiet, and convenient hotel to stay. It's in the heart of the Crystal Beach area. The only negatives were, a bed that was overly soft and not very comfortable, and no comfortable chairs in the room. Other than this, I enjoyed our visit as always and will plan to return.

Our room was comfortable and convenient to everything that was important to us, beach, pool, food, bar, and the strip was just around the corner, close enough to be a part of things but the Inn wasnt in the mix of things to bring chaos, very relaxing.
I wish that we didnt have to worry about painting all week, moving cars and avoiding scaffles. My husband hit his head on a lamp outside our door trying to avoid the painters. Also I asked for a smoking room and not one person mentioned that the establishment was no smoking. I didnt find out til after I checked in and I was told since I rquested a smoking room there was a table and ashtray outside my door. The only problem I couldnt get to it because several days I had painters in front of my door and I sat at my table and opened the window and puffed and got a letter highlighted that there would be a fine. Other than that everything and everyone is so incredibly nice down there. My husband was impressed and that takes a lot. We'll be back to Destin again someday I am sure.

The location is great. Above a cafe and restaurant (the best in destin). Every morning
had breakfast at friendly cafe (pet friendly, outdoor patio seating, delicious
smoothies and sandwiches).
Room was so clean. Ceramic tile floors were brilliant, very clean! Very large vanity
area, nice that shower and toilet were separate from sink/vanity area.
Late arrival was no problem, office made it so easy!

we were waiting to sighn a contract on a long term lease and needed to sta 1 night some where. we drove to the beach and stop at the nicest place we could find.... you quest it beachside inn. the room was very nice, pricey for our purpose but worth every penny. my wife and I walked the beach til sunset then my sugar dropped very low. as we walk accross the street back to our room. a very nice lady spoke to us from the grill that is attached to the Inn she invited us in and fixed me a dip that was out of this world, ( just what the doctor ordered.) in no time I was feeling much better. we talked for a while about the area. she told us about the resterant up stairs and there pizza. man an other home run! the room the hospitality the service got all 4 thumbs up from us. we are now locals but still go to the resrarant upstairs.

First and foremost the Beachside Inn is located in a great spot. When I rented the room for two nights, the front desk clerk informed me of a special they were running. I was happy to hear that and the room looked great as any hotel room might. When I slept in the bed which looked awesome and comfy, it was not. The bed enveloped me and was very bad for my back. In the morning I realized why there was a special.....the beep, beep, beep all morning of workers moving machines and there talking had me up early....not peaceful at all. Being there for the Grogg March on St. Patty's Day and enjoying the festival, waking up so early and my back aching was not worth the special that I received, which I was not told why there was a special....So in any event....was not a great stay at all.....Beds, matressess definitely need to be replaced.

The location is great. The people are very helpful. There was a lot of constrution going on and the wireless did not work in my room. The tile floors were great but felt gritty, like they needed sweeping, maybe that was from all the work going on around the room. I would give them another chance. My dog loved it and the linen and the beds were very comfortable.

We had an absolute blast during our stay. Our hotel was clean, fairly large, and included great extras like a minifridge. What really set this hotel apart was the friendly service that went above and beyond! The front desk was superb, the breakfast attendee was super friendly, and even the cleaning staff was helpful and joyous. It was a refreshing and upbeat establishment. The location is also great. It is right across the street from public beach access which includes a large pavilion with restrooms and showers. Awesome Awesom Awesome!

We did not have a great stay at the Beachside Inn. The walls were paper thin; a loud group of three 20-somethings arrived next door during our second night, partying outside and slamming doors for over half an hour at 1:30 in the morning, then doing the same thing again at 7 a.m. The two times I had to talk to someone in the office, it seemed like the attitude was that I was bothering them. The location is fantastic -- the beach is right across the street -- but I would definitely not stay here again; if you have more than a couple days to stay, rent one of Newman-Dailey's condos. Much more privacy and well worth the extra money.

Just down the block from the beach, the Destin Beachside Inn was perfect for us! The staff was very kind and helpful, the tile floors were great for the dogs and after a beach excursion. Everything was very clean, the tub was roomy and the beds were comfy. I will definitely stay there the next time i visit Destin.
However, I don't recommend, the overpriced, on property restaurant. Small plates, big prices, inedible food, bummer.

It's a reasonably priced, pleasant motel with a convenient access to the beach.
Both hostesses were very pleasant and helpful.
As an off comment, we're confused about the on premises restaurant ? a hidden away Japanese Sushi restaurant? The menu was a little varied but expensive (we thought). Who wants to pay big bucks to eat raw fish in a motel restaurant?
We did have a nice stay and will probably return for several days again next year.

This was our first trip to Destin and we really enjoyed ourselves. The king room was nice w/ ceramic tile floors, and a mattress that made you want to stay in the room the entire time. The only gripes I have is the fact that it is not noted on their site that the coffee shop in under renovations and continental breakfast is not available, and the mini fridge is just that, a mini fridge. We ate out majority of the time, but the mini fridge was not big enough to put to go boxes in. There was a microwave, but really doesn't do much good if you can't store the food to put in the microwave later.

This should not be listed as a B&B. It is a motel. It's clean and convenient for a room near the beach. The coffee pot in the room is NOT breakfast, going to the office after 9 AM for yesterdays scone/muffin and coffee is not what I'd consider B&B. The exchanges of either other visitors or the innkeeper was non existent. I was arriving late, on a stormy night, had difficulty finding the place, so I called the number and was on hold for about 14 minutes.
The Beachside Inn should be listed as a motel, not a Bed and Breakfast.

I usualy rent a condo if I stay more than a day. Beachside inn is great too. I stayed few times before. But I have to say there service and the properties are great. I been renting vacation condos from Newman-dailey for last 12 years. I always suggest my friends and family to go to Destin and stay in one of their resort properties. I am planning to go there next two weeks and as usual I will stay in one of their resort properties.

Starting at the front desk ..friendly and helpful. The lobby was clean and brochures with all the local activities available. The hours to the restaurant was explained and recommended by the desk clerk. I did not use it but the coffee shop was good with plenty of choices of coffee and pastries.
The room ...clean, new paint, large and everything worked. Slight issue with internet but resolved quickly by the friendly lady at the front desk. One complaint....the room smelled a little musty at first then around 2:00 in the morning the room freshener wore off and it was obvious previous smokers had used the room. Our friend in a pet friendly room did not have that issue. It was a very slow weekend so could not tell if it would be noisy. Not convenient for walking everywhere unless you like walking neighborhoods (which I didn't mind) However it was a close walk to the beach, which was not crowded. The sunrise and sunset was magical. The price was acceptable for the time of year. I would stay here again..but take air freshener!!!

We only had one issue and it was with the manager. We always travel with necessary and expensive computer equipment. As a result we normally request the room not be entered while we're out (though we don't usually leave the equipment behind). There was some problem between the manager and the maids. My wife talked with her and couldn't relate it to me completely. Apparently she has no controls in place to track what rooms who has cleaned or when and was irritated that she had apparently paid for our room cleaning when we specifically requested it not to be. It's no problem for us and won't effect our decision to stay there in the future.

We found the Motel to be very well kept and maintained. The restaurant located on the property was outstanding. The staff was friendly and very helpful, especially Eunice! Its location is wonderful; across the street from the beach and very close to shops, the harbor/marina area and other local attractions. We had a great stay and will be back. Upon arrival, the office was closed, but there's a phone box outside. I called the number listed, and the management took my name and credit card information. She gave me the combination to the room and we were all set. Very convenient!
The rooms are very nice and clean. There's a restaurant and bar upstairs but we didn't spend a lot of time there. We ate there twice, and the food was great. There's a sandwich shop downstairs and we spent every morning there drinking coffee, and eating the free continental breakfast. (which is a danish) There's free WiFi throughout the resort. I had no problems with the connection. The beach is just across the street. Very easy access. You can be there in under 60 seconds.
We are definitely going to return. ;)

When I reserved the hotel room online I had asked for a room with a king bed. However, when it booked -it acutally booked 3 different times, which I will say that the company called and took care of but no one ever mentioned that the room I had wanted to book was unavailable. Imagine our surprise when we got here to celebrate our anniversary that the room we had had two beds. When I went to the front desk to inquire, I was just told...sorry about that. I have been in the customer service industry for 10 years and believe me... 'sorry about that' doesn't cut it.

I was very happy with the price of this hotel. We arrived late and were able to get into our room with very little hassle using the after hours phone and lock box. The room was very clean and comfortable. We were able to take our dog with us so it was very nice. I would definitely stay at Beachside again. The only problem we had was when we arrived on Friday night the parking lot was full. It seemed as though the majority of the cars were there for the restaurant because they cleared out later that night.

With Eunice so efficiently helping me with my reservation, including 12 rooms, dinner reservations for 38, and all of the details for the memorial weekend for my Mom, I knew we had chosen the perfect place. Eunice does a terrific job to make the traveler feel important, comfortable, and welcome from booking the reservation through checkout. Anything we needed during our stay was taken care of by "just asking Eunice". The rooms were very pretty, with such comfy and quality linens, and no amenity was missing. The coffee shop was great and the restaurant (and Chris Knight and his kind and friendly staff!) did a superb job serving us all and putting up with the confusion and excitement that comes with that many people. Your location is great for a quick walk to the beautiful beach and the walkway and showers made it even easier.

We stayed at the Beachside Inn across the street from, but mere steps to the beach. Perfect!! Service was superb. Both Donna & Eunice were kind, helpful and we are very appreciative. Room was nice and clean. Loved the pools, but wished the hot tub was a little more private. We would have used it but it was in front of the upstairs restaraunt. Since it is pet-friendly, we could bring the babies, and that made our stay so much more restful not to have to worry about them back home... and they LOVED IT TOO!! Wish the outside pet area was more protected, fenced in would be ideal! And i will ask for a full size coffee pot next time... because we will definitely stay there again!!! Cons: Very dark in the room--especially in the vanity area; I had to go outside to check my makeup because I couldn't see how it looked in the mirror. Key codes were changed before the 11:00 check-out time, so we were locked out while trying to load our car.

I liked the room. It was large and clean, and had high speed internet access. But, I didn't like that management wasn't onsite other than a few hours during the day. We had to call to figure out how to get our key. I would think for those prices they could afford onsite staffing.

check-in was fine and desk person was nice. Room was clean, but it was just an old motel room with a too-firm bed, and no extra pillows. Biggest disappointment was it was listed as a "Bed and Breakfast"... What breakfast? We were directed to go next door to a coffee shop where we got a "store-bought" muffin and a cup of coffee. Big deal! I have had better "breakfast" at an Eight Day's Inn. Good thing that Destin has faboulus beaches, or this place would be just like all the rest of the motels along the coast, (i.e. hurting).

We drove from our hometown of Texas to Destin we were very tired and Crystal Beach was a nice find. We were greeted with a warm friendly smile.The Inn was was very well maintained-the room was clean and fresh. So surpried we were for the room had a small kitchenette which included a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. It was just a short walk to the beach. The continental breakfast was a nice feature as well as the resturant. We only stayed two nights but wish we could of stayed longer. Our next visit will be a longer stay at this Inn.

Employees at this property are the best!!! Room had a few issues. Comforter was dirty it had red spots like blood on it!!! UGHHHH!!!! Grout on the tile floor is dirty! Room needs a place to sit other than bed, and hard wooden table chair! Also the tile sidewalk entering room has a very dangerous bulk in it I tripped on it 2 times, and my husband tripped, and ripped a toenail off, and ended up having to go to clinic!

First up the two ladies that run the place are
amazing they bent over backwards to get us a room
and really work there tail off. The beach which is
right across the street is beautiful and pristine
and there is a scooter rental right outside your
door.
My only complaint is complex area itself can be
pretty loud outside the room, the restaurant bar
next door had loud music playing all day, even when
they weren't open and large trucks making delivers
all day on the weekend didn't make for the most
relaxing poolside sit.
However all that said the rooms where pretty solid
and most of this noise was not to bad from inside
the room and with all the stuff to do in destin we
didnt spend too much time in the room anyway.

We had a nice time at Beachside Inn, our fourth stay there! It is very convenient to the beach and has a nice coffee shop and restaurant right on site. However, a wedding party was there also and they "partied" noisily into the night, the walls are thin so we didn't have the quiet we would have liked.

Beachside Inn is a nice quiet place to stay. It's convenient to everything. It was nice to have a restaurant there at the hotel, although it was a little pricey. I would definitely recommend this to someone who is on a tight budget.

Very Nice bedding. In a handicapped room with no prior warning. Shower head broke on the first day and it took two days to fix it. First attempt was trying to repair a problem that common sense would dictate that a replacement was the only viable solution and the cost wasd nominal - result two days of unpleasant showers out of three:( Nice restaurant and coffee shp. Friendly and helpful staff. Overall better than worse. We plan on staying again on labor day. My third stay with Newman daily. I would appreciate a nice "thank you" rate for our upcoming stay if that is possible.

My boyfriend and I wanted to get out of town for a couple days and hit the Emerald Coast. We found the Beachside Inn online and it had good reviews. I really enjoyed our hotel; it had a lot to offer. You can get breakfast/lunch at the coffee shop downstairs or you can have dinner and drinks at Camille's upstairs. Everything was very clean and competitively priced. To top it off, the hotel is right across the road from the Gulf. I highly recommend Beachside Inn to others and will only stay there when I'm in Destin.

We stayed in one of the 'pet rooms' which really was a great room - all tile, very clean and up-to-date. Location just off the beach was a plus, and very close to the shops at Destin Commons. Vouchers for free breakfast added to the amenities, and the manager was extremely helpful and fun to deal with! [Eunice]. For a heartier breakfast, she recommended an outstanding diner about 1 mile east of the hotel. Could have used a sheer curtain behind the regular curtains, and more lighting over the vanity area. All in all, a really nice place to stay with our little 'fido'!

The rooms were very clean with fresh sheets, comforter, and pillow cases. Also the complementary breakfast was great along with fresh new towels on arrival. My wife and I didn't have to drive far for restaurant locations and beach access, we were right across the street from the beach. My overall experience at the Beachside Inn was great and I will most definitely stay there the next time I visit Destin.

This Inn is off the beaten path and just steps from the beautiful crystal beach area. Although it is not quite a five star, It is very comfortable and the staff are great. The restaurant at the Inn has fabulous food, as a result parking in front of your room, if you are not already in it before 5 pm, is impossible. When the dinner crowd leaves you can get your spot back :) Our family likes to eat where the locals do and not so much tourist traps....we had some really good food in the area. It is just a short ride to the Destins Commons shopping mall....wow at the stores!!! We will go back and stay with Nrewman-Daily again, they treated us like family :)
Next time I think we may try one of their houses :)

Our family wanted to spend a "night" on the beach coming home from Arkansas. Being that we were traveling on a Friday night to Destin, there were not many places available. Fortunately Beachside Inn had a cancellation! The room was nicely decorated, roomy, and a comfortable night's sleep. The teens enjoyed the overflow pool/jacuzzi design while the overlook onto the gulf was a beautiful picture. Parking was a little tight so we left our vehicle and walked 1/2 mile to check out dining options, it added to the "beach feel". Other than several phone calls and messages to get a confirmation, we enjoyed the service and stay. Beachside is not "on the beach" but just across the street from a public entrance with facilities. Very convenient!

This really is a motel, but the rooms were clean the location to the beach was excellent for the price. A small cafe makes light breakfasts and lunches easy, and the beach access is right across where they have public showers to wash your feet. Overall a nice place.

My newly wed wife and I decided this would be our first getaway. We even got to take our little baby Yorky Max. If only we could have stayed a few more nights we could have enjoyed more time hanging out at the pool and eating sushi. Max felt very welcomed. We loved sitting out at the cafe for breakfast every morning. The fresh squeezed orange juice gave us the burst of energy we needed to get from relaxed to even more relaxed just a few feet away on the beach. We threw in our usual cardio fitness days by running, cycling, and walking Max. We kind of wish we had access to a weight training or fitness room for those really hot times of day. Well, overall we left feeling younger and cared for by the friendly staff of Beachside Inn. See you again next year. Don't hesitate to give us a break on rates.

The facility was nice and clean however, there were a couple of issues that bothered us;
Your No Pet rule became an issue!
Next door a couple had two dogs that barked for most of the evening! I like pets etc. but not in motels!
My wife is 5'0" tall and had trouble getting in and out of the high beds!!
We enjoyed the pool area, the hot tub, and the close proximity to the ocean. The room was very nice and clean! Yes, we would return if you were to inforce your no pet rule!

We stayed a week at the Beachside Inn and the overall experience was very enjoyable. The continental breakfast at the coffeshop was outstanding. The rooms were very clean and well kept. We never ran out of hot water the entire week we stayed there and that includes multiple showers a day since the hotel is located directly across the road from the beach entrance. The location in proximity to the beach was perfect. Camille's Restaurant was excellent. My only complaint would be that there isn't anyone at the front desk after about 5:00 or 6:00 p.m.

Loved the pools and the easy access to the beach. The room is nice with a door that closes off a dressing area by the bathroom. My mom is in a wheelchair and the ramp to the beach is really right across the street. The ramp is connected to a nice, new pavillion with bathrooms and outdoor showers. Small street, no traffic, stop sign at the corner, really easy, thank goodness as it was just the two of us!!! Beach service right near the ramp for $25. a day. We stayed at the beachside because it's pet friendly and they truly are pet friendly! Our room was on the first floor, second door from the office and right in front of the handicapped ramp. Very convenient. Only problem was the noise. We could hear EVERYTHING from the parking lot. Our excellent little watchdog was on guard all night and there wasn't much sleeping going on. We slept on the beautiful beach the next day so it all worked out. It was really a good stay. The most important things for us were having my mom's dog and easy access to the beach. Both were great. If ever in Destin again we would certainly stay here - just not so close to the office.

The employees are polite and very accommodating. The rooms are nice but, I find the walls are thin. We were in a room with an adjoining door and the family on the other side stayed up into the wee hours and we could hear every word. The next morning we complained to the front desk and they politely moved the family to another room. It's a pet friendly property.
The location is great. Easy to get to, shops and restaurants blocks away and most of all great access to the beach.
Overall, it's the best place for us when we just want to get away for two or three days.

Happened upon the Beachside Inn by accident. The manager was very pleasant and very helpful in getting us checked in. The room was not quite ready, but the kids needed to use the restroom and she personally took them upstairs to the room so that they could use the restroom. She also got us some blankets for the room.
The room itself was unusually large. More than enough room to turn around in without hitting someone or bouncing into the furniture. The pillowtop mattress's were very comfortable. Our little 6 year old was could not get upon the bed with out using the cooler as a step. The room also had a fridge and microwave as no additional cost.
The location was directly across from the beach, with their own pavilion with picnic tables, restrooms and showers. Several of the larger chain motels, ea. Hampton Inn and Ramada Inn--their beach access was anywhere from 2 blocks to 6 blocks down the road.

The only time that housekeeping changed the sheets was if u called the front desk
and requested that ur sheets be changed. Which by the way we were not informed of
this upon check in. The floors were never swept in the room.The continential
breakfast wasn't worth getting. We were only allowed to have one item per person
with one glass of coffee, milk or juice. And if we needed something from the front
office after 6pm we had to wait till the next morning because they closed the office
down at 6pm every night. There was no security after hours either.

The ladies at the front desk were very courteous and helpful. The pool is beautiful and warm. The facility was very clean and fresh, and the beach is right across the street. Don't worry about crossing the street, the two lane road has a speed limit of 25 and there is a 4 way stop and crosswalk at the motel. Everyone yields to the pedestrians. The room was comfortable and contained a microwave and fridge. The entire facility is non-smoking! The only down-side was that sound travelled easily between our room and the adjoining room, but our neighbors weren't noisy. I was more worried about our kids disturbing them. Also, there were non-guests using the pool from time to time.
All in all, a great place to stay!

The beach side inn was all that we expected and more. Literally steps from the beach. Shopping was essentially was within walking distance. Food and coffee was just around the corner, or even right outside your hotel door. The area was quaint and quiet. The atmosphere was so New Orleans like! I am from new Orleans, and the ambiance was much like that of an Esplanade ave. bed and breakfast, except even better because the beautiful aqua marine colored waves were observable from the pool deck. To top it off, we were just elated that they invited our pets to join in on all the peace and serenity that was offered. The rooms were very nicely painted, and the beds were like heaven to sleep in. Donna and Eunice took customer service to a level that all businesses should strive towards. It was truly a magical place to get nestled into with your pets! We will most definitely be returning!

We had our family reunon there, and it was very condusive for family gatherings on the pool side deck of Camiel's resturant. They made us delicious pizzas to accommate our 27 person group! Public beach access was just accross the street and located right near a nice pavillion with outside showers and restrooms. I loved going to their "coffee/snack shop" to enjoy morning coffee outside every morning. The rooms were very clean and nice. The staff at Beachside Inn were hospitable and welcomming.

We had found this wonderful resort way back when it had first opened and loved it then as much as we do today. Fantastic location and room layout rate a "10" with us. Very clean and colorful, and the pool was a real treat!
We enjoyed the breakfast/coffee shop daily as it faces the Gulf of Mexico. This location puts everything at your fingertips - so you don't have to leave during your stay. The resturant and lounge are topside so the view is beautiful day or night.
I recommend this to anyone who wants a quiet, peaceful get-away!

My wife and I agreed that this was a great spot for our first vacation to Destin. The beach was very accessible--we could carry all of our things across the street (a street that is not very busy on that end). The cafe had great danishes for breakfast each day and we found the hotel to be pretty centrally located--very close to the beach and easy to get out to the main road for restaurants or attractions. It's a pretty small hotel, which we liked because it was not noisy and we didn't constantly hear doors slamming like you do in the bigger hotels.

We loved the room. The beds were very comfortable. We stayed in room 205 on the second level so the pool was easy to get too without getting in the parking lot. Although we didn't use it this time we will bring movies for the dvd player next year. We plan to come back in May every year hopefully since this time was so nice. Beach access was excellent. THe only thing I would suggest and I don't know how long the results would last at the beach, is that you pressure wash the red brick walways to reduce the black foot grease that comes back in the clean room with you.

On previous visits I had seen the Inn and thought how clean and pretty it looked. We decided to drive down for the night and booked here - it lived up to my expectations. The convenience of having a great restaurant attached to your hotel can not be overstated for parents of young ones! The sushi was excellent and the service extremely friendly. The coffee shop was convenient for our morning coffee and actually served an awesome fresh-made egg sandwich that feed both my husband and I - it was big! - on fresh rye bread with real eggs, all for 5 bucks. Though the kid working the counter was not too perky or timely at 7 a.m. The rooms were bigger than expected and actually had pretty decent beds. Nice small hotel feel with good service.

This is a great, reasonably priced (for Destin)motel.
We stayed with our 15 month old son and we had a great time!. The beach is literally right across the street with great access, a little pavilian with bathrooms and tables. Theres no long walk to get to the water (which is great if you know how much stuff a toddler needs to carry to the beach!)
The hotel was neat and clean, the pool looked great (unfortunately we arrived during a rare cold spell in April - so did'nt get to use the pool - but we didi use the hottub! NICE & hot!)
We would deffinately recommend and stay again.

Understand management had nothing to do with this but that is what I will remember about our stay...NO SLEEP! However, the rooms were great.

I have been going to Destin for many years. A friend recommended that I stay at Beachside Inn. It was a wonderful experience. The rooms are homey and spacious. The bedding is very comfortable and the inn has a wonderful restaurant on property. It was a great stay.

Large room with all of the amenities was very comfortable for our 3-night stay. Just a walk across the road to the beach. Only downside is no couch or sitting area in the room. Staff was very helpful and enjoyed our stay.

My family stayed here to celebrate an event and we found the Beachside Inn a great place to be. The rooms were nicely decorated, very comfortable and clean. The staff were outstanding in their friendliness and helpfulness. The fact that you were pet friendly was also a bonus. Our only disappointment was the limited choices in the continental breakfast (cereal OR a muffin; small coffee OR orange juice). We expected a more generous choice of items. We supplemented the limited breakfast with items we purchased at a grocery store, and then had a wonderful time!

It was the people that work at the BeachSide Inn that made this experience the best. It is close to shopping and right across the street from a terrific beach. There is a restaurant and a sandwich shop on the premises. We didn't try the restaurant but I would suggest the sandwich shop for breakfast, very good. I would highly recommend the Beach Side Inn. We stayed for 6 nights and would do so again.

We love the Beachside Inn for several reasons: they love dogs (we always bring ours when we vacation!), and you can't beat the location! It's close to shopping, restaurants, and of course, the beach! The rooms are kept neat, and they're a decent size (we have 2 teenage sons). We've stayed a couple of years in a row now, and look forward to making this an annual trip.

We had driven by this place many times while in Destin, FL. It is close to everything, yet quiet and laid back. When the kids and teenage grandkids visited Destin, we suggested the Beachside Inn.
Great choice, clean, quiet, easy access to beach, huge room with all the amenities. Extra large bathroom. Helpful staff.
We recommend the Beachside Inn to all our friends looking for a Destin overnight experience.

Although our stay was for just a weekend, it was a great place to stay. We have a dog, a 4yr old Shih-Tzu named Precious. The staff loved her very much which makes the stay better. The staff was very kind and friendly to us. I'm a former employee of Newman-Dailey so it was nice to stay in one of their places. We will we back there the end of February for a few more days.

I called and spoke with Eunice who immediately took care of all of my needs. There was a slight computer glitch which she attended to immediately. I can count on Beachside Inn to always offer the same cozy, down home feel, and a great night's sleep with the most comfortable bed around.

Close to the beach clean rooms and pet friendly.Shopping malls close and EX.GOLF COURSE W/ DRIVING RANGE 5 TO 8 miles from INN. Nice walking area or running or biking. I fond the brunch cafe just what you need to start your day. And 4 miles from Inn you can run your dog on the beach. White sand with clean wide open beaches. Nice sunset and cool ocean breez. A place to relax to fill the sun and the sand under your feet. To hang your soul out and get a good night sleep. Looking foward to my next stay.

This was the second year we stayed at the Beachside end and loved it both times! The price was great, and the beach was right there! The rooms were spacious and always very clean. It was so nice having the coffee shop right there as well as the restaurant onsite. We also really loved the pool. We always travel with our dog, so finding a great hotel at a value rate, that takes dogs and is right across the street to the entrance to the beach is such a great find! Friendly staff also. The staff and other people staying there were so friendly - what a find!

We had a great time. The room is large and clean (we had 2 adults, 2 teenage girls and a 12 lb dog and were quite comfortable). We were able to keep our pet in the room and had no problems. Plenty of places to walk the dog. The beach is just across the street.

We have stayed at the Beashside Inn on two occasions. We found the room clean,however we were kept awake until about 3:00 a.m. due to a wild group drinking and laughing,and talking by the pool which was supposed to be closed. On our last visit we were awakened by a couple having a very seroius fight which kept us up and the room was left a mess as they had a huge dog in the room. ALso there was blood all over the towels from the room and broken glass in the parking lot. I do not believe we would sgtay there again as it seems to draw some pretty rough clients.

Stayed at this property while participating in a friend's wedding. Overall nice stay, but whatever the housekeeping staff uses on the tile floors causes black gooey residue on feet. Not acceptable. Cheap soap/shampoo. Good access to beaches and close to other amenities.

Nicely decorated property adjacent to wonderful beach and within easy drive to shopping, grocery, good restaurants.
Very pleased.
The downside is that it is somewhat inconvenient to go down to Majestic Sun for check in or other details.
Pool is undersized but adequate. This location is good for those seeking value and quiet - away from the noise, and not needing additional recreational amenities.

We found the Beachside Inn as a spir of the moment trip..It was as nice if not nicer than some of the condos we have stayed in down in Florida! Clean and quaint accomodations along with the wonderful staff was a keypoint that made our stay so much fun! We will definitely be back in 2009 and hopefully many times! This is a small and comfortably updated motel property just across the street from the beach but yet still conveniently located just a few miles from the bustle of Destin. The rooms are large and tiled. A great feature is the large combo dressing/vanity area that can be closed off with a sliding door from the bedroom. The toilet and bath/shower are also separated by another door allowing multiple family members to get ready at the same time. The property allows dogs in certain rooms and there is plenty of grassy areas for potty breaks. I was really impressed with their on-site restaurant which had exceptional food and great wine. There is also a pool which we did not use due to our short stay. Overall excellent laid back family motel!

to begin with, was put right next to the elevator. too noisy, so ask to be moved. put us across the street in a condo. bathroom floor was so dirty i had to scrub it on my hands and knees.we had to leave 2 days early because my friend was sick. did not offer to return our money for those two days.

We spent a week at the Beachside Inn and we were able to bring our dogs with us which is very important. It was very family friendly. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The location was great. Even though it does not sit directly on the beach it is closer than many "beachside" places that we have paid more for in the past. We definitely plan on returning and would recomend the Beachside Inn to all.

Our stay was wonderful. The location is perfect, just within walking distance of the beach (three minutes). The staff was courteous, kind and efficient. Destin has always been a favorite place of mine to get away. My daughter had just come home from a semester in London and wanted to get some color (suntan). Since I am a travel agent and have my own website I started checking into hotels and this place sounded great. I booked it and it was perfect. It was across the street from the beach and a great price compared to the hotels in the area. We had 2 queen beds and the room had a ceiling fan. Something most hotels don't have. The room was very clean and you could go to the bakery next door for a complementary danish and coffee. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would defenitely stay here again.

This hotel was fantastic! It is directly across the street from the beach and has great accomadations! The cafe and resturant were fantastic and the staff treated you very well! We were there for a week and they called my husband and I by name everytime they saw us. The rooms were also very clean! I will definately stay here again when I return to the area for vacation.

We stayed at the Beachside Inn in mid August.
We usually stay at the Hampton, but found Beachside and are really glad we did. The office
staff were really friendly and helpful. There's a restaurant on site which makes for convenience. What we really liked was the proximity of the beach to the hotel, directly across the street. We could sit at a table and overlook the beach which we did. There's a nice pool area and hot tub which we used.It was maintained while we were in it which let us know Beachside cares about the ph balance of the water, and keeps EVERYTHING clean. The room was super comfortable and also very pleasing to the eye. Everything was clean and up to date, and quite frankly we didn't want to leave. Its right down the street from the Destin Commons, so we were close to everything we love about Destin. We're planning on returning as soon as our work schedule allows. We would stay nowhere else now that we've discovered this. I cannot recommend this place enough.

We are former residence of Destin. We get totally home sick and have to
return once in a while. We had great trouble finding a clean place to
stay that let us have our tiny dog. We checked in and out of a few
different places before checking into the Beach Side Inn. Eunice is a
wonderful person to run a vacation business. She take the extra special
care of her vacationers and owners alike. We love Eunice as much as the
Beach Side Inn. We hope to return next year and enjoy our old home town
with the home town hospitality that goes with it. Thank you Eunice we
love you. We highly recommend the Inn to our neighbors at the Lakes of
Mount Dora. We miss Destin and love to return as often as possible. It
we could we would move back to the Emerald Coast. Maybe if the housing
crunch ever passes we will be able to do that. Thank you Beach Side Inn

The Beachside Inn is the best kept secret for clean, comfy, affordable accomodations in Destin!! PLEASE don't let that get around!!
From the beachy feel of the tile floors to the most comfortable bed I've ever had in a hotel setting, the accomodations are unbeatable.
This was my second time to stay here in 2008 and believe me, I WILL be back! Cookie cutter highrise hotels don't offer the charm that Beachside Inn provides.
Having the option of a pool & hottub or walking just a few steps to the most stunning beach in the U.S. is also a tremendous plus.
My daughter and I loved having breakfast al fresco every morning at the Crystal Beach Coffee Company conveniently located right on the property. Fresh pastry and delicious coffee were the perfect compliment to people watching and enjoying the morning breeze.
Needless to say, I can't wait to come back!!

This hotel is a renovated inn located right across from the beach and public beach access. Our room was bright orange with tile floors. (very festive). The double pool and hot tub was very pretty, and you have a view of the beach from the pool. We had lunch at the street level restaurant. They had a grill and cooked hamburgers, hot dogs, ribs , chicken and beef with peppers. I had the hamburger; it was very good. The first night there, our neighbor was VERY noisy; he partied until 3:30am. We could not call the front desk because the office closes at 10pm. We told the front desk our dilemma the next morning. They were very accommodating. They moved our neighbor to a different room, and our next two nights there were very quiet and peaceful. The location of the hotel is the best part. For the price, you really can't beat the value of this hotel. It was very close to shopping and many restaurants. I would stay here again.

I have been staying at the Beachside Inn for the last 5 years and have never experienced any problems during my stays. The staff have always gone beyond the normal to make my stays pleasant and enjoyable. The atmosphere and location are convenient and soothing. I am frequently in the area and make it a priority to contact Eunice at Beachside Inn to make sure I have somewhere to stay and she always accomodates my needs. You won't be dissatisfied if you chose this location as your vacation area.

We stayed at Beachside Inn 05/18/2008 thru 05/25/2008.We were in a up stairs room.The room was very clean and roomy.It had a ceiling fan over the bed which we liked as we had that at home.
The pool and hot tub was very nice.And had a nice view of the beach from the top of the pool deck area.The bar and restraunt got very busy in the evening.We never went there so don't know what to say about it other than it had a lot of guest,so it must have been good.The Inn was very quite,which we liked.The only thing we saw that could be a problem, was that in the evening when the Bar quest came, it caused parking to be crouded.
But as a whole we would love to go back there again.
The Inn was located in a very nice area,close to every thing.Beach was just across the street.

We try to go to the Beachside Inn every 6 months or so. It is
always clean, beautifully decorated, convenient to everything,
including the beach right across the street. We love the
restaurant upstairs, and the little bistro for breakfast and/or
lunch. And best of all, they accept pets--we have a little cocker
spaniel--so we don't have to worry about putting her in a

This was a "mini getaway" for me for two days. I had not been able to get back to Destin for 20 years. My how things have changed! The Beachside Inn is the perfect place with a cozy, down home feel. There are so many skyscraper resorts there that I was overjoyed to find a simple, yet wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the beauty of the beach. The Inn is kept in immaculate condition. The rooms are clean, cozy, and very spacious with all ammenities anyone could need. The pool and spa are sparkling clean with an appealing decor. There are tables and chairs to enjoy a beverage at with a view of the amazing emerald ocean. Continental breakfast is included at the on-site coffee shop with a view of the ocean no less. The beach is literally about a hundred yards away and the street that is referred to is a tiny two lane road with virtually no traffic. The staff was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. The rates are fantastic. I plan on visiting as often as possible during the course of the year at stay at Beachside Inn. This time it certainly won't be 20 years before I return!!! Ha!

We were lucky enough to happen upon this Inn on our first time thru Destin. We didn't plan on stopping, but were just checking the out the beach. The Inn had a great Monday night special so we stayed and we had our dog with us.
The upstairs room had beautiful tile floors and was very well appointed. Very Florida-like and airy and the beds were very comfortable. We had a great view of the pool which is upstairs and quite impressively designed.
Restaurant,which was upstairs had the best pizza I have ever had!
We will definitely go back next time we are in Destin and the staff was very nice!

Visited July 4th weekend with my husband, two 17-year-olds and a small dog. The rooms are nice and spacious, clean, and quite comfortable. Just cross the street to get to the beach. Bike and scooter rental available. Great area. They even had someone monitor the parking lot to assure no one parked in the guest parking areas on the 4th (which was a huge blessing!) Only downside...office is not staffed 24 hours. Much better than a stay in a chain hotel.
